Work, no doubt, is an integral part of our lives but there is always need for a balance. Yes, Work Life Balance is important and according to our new research, 90 percent of UAE employees believe a healthy work-life balance is key to their productivity at work, with over half identifying flexible working hours as a determining factor when trying to establish a balance between work, social activities and personal interests.
As part of the research, Monster.com in Gulf surveyed more than 500 working professionals to find out what aspects of work-life balance are most valued by them.
42 percent of the respondents of the UAE-wide survey also cited leaving on time as an important element when trying to achieve a healthy work-life balance, while 40 percent declared not having to work over holidays is a significant factor.
Highlights of the Monster Work Life Balance Research
- 90 percent of UAE employees believe a healthy work-life balance is key to their productivity at work.
- 42 percent of the respondents of the UAE-wide survey also cited leaving on time as an important element when trying to achieve a healthy work-life balance.
- Over 70 percent of the survey respondents believe they are able to balance work and personal responsibilities.
