3D Designer entails creating the assets required to turn creative ideas into tangible experiences, from conceptual and schematic designs to final build drawings. The role holder will work with and report to the Head of the Studio to ensure the designs meet project objectives and Sweetwater standards.
Job Description:
- Work closely with both account and creative teams in the preparation of 3D visualization.
Understand the concepts and initial design intent and apply this to a graphic representation.- Reproduce the Creative Directors concept into a graphic form or interpretation and artistic designing to represent the ideas in a graphical format and into photo-realistic 3D renderings and animations.
Build 3D models and draw floor plans to scale
- Read and accurately interpret project briefs, as specified within projects, and realize those designs as compelling imagery.
Provide efficient modeling and converting of data sets from CAD or other 3D modeling packages.- Participate in project brainstorms.
Undertake 2D image compositing, finishing, and retouching operations on 3D renderings.
- Explore new technologies (both hardware and software) to expand Sweetwaters services, improve the quality of visualizations and increase efficiency. This is likely to include new rendering engines, pipelines, and assets, as well as emerging trends such as virtual reality.
Surveying, analyzing, and measuring event sites for detailed drawings.- Work with the Production team and Senior Designer to design décor elements that meet safety standards, can be produced efficiently, and installed and de-installed safely and on time.

- An associates or equivalent degree in Graphic Design or certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course (or equivalent) is preferred
3+ years of related work experience in a creative agency with a killer portfolio- Proven ability to visually depict accurate information and project concepts when developing graphics and creating presentations
Technical competent in software such as 3D Max, Rhino, Adobe CS4, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, AfterEffects, and Microsoft
