Job Purpose
Technical review of assigned drawings and 3D models, create 3D models using CAD softwares, Responsible of the control of drawings and the change orders, keeping records and documentation as per company policy.
Job Responsibilities
Technical
- Technical review of customer's drawings and 3D models
- Control of drawings and change management through DMS or PDM
- Create 2D and 3D for patterns and simulation purposes using 3D modeling software.
- Attending regular meetings with production team and job managers, engineers for explaining the WI and MPS
- Trouble shooting & Improvement of design process
Quality
- Adhering to the EHS requirements for the design office
- Supporting in acquiring the certification and qualifications required
Process Optimization
- Identifying the opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
- Implement new techniques, technologies, or equipment upgrades to improve Design and Machining processes.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of designs
- Providing technical support for product documentation creation at each factory and reviewing the produced documentation
Technical support for sales team
- Supporting the review of manufacturing feasibility for items targeted for estimation for sales support from production perspective.
- Support in reviewing and designing the production process for quoting products to meet customer's technical requirements and providing education.
Adaptability to fulfill any other job responsibilities as required by the company.
Job Requirements
- Bachler degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in CNC machining processes within a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of casting and machining operations, principles.
- Strong understanding of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerances GD&T for big parts (20 tons+)
- Strong knowledge in 3D and 2D softwares SW/Ansys/AutoCAD
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
- Teamwork: Collaboration with engineers, designers, and other team members is often necessary, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
