Role Description / Summary:
This is a part-time on-site role for an Academy Football Coach located in Khobar Saudi Arabia.
As a coach of Captain Academy, you work for all the activities of Captain Academy. As a coach, you represent Captain Academy and are involved in the implementation of football sessions, football camps, traveling overseas and outside locations. You will work together with a group of motivated and experienced coaches and you will thus have the opportunity to develop as a coach among professionals.
Qualification:
· Hold the minimum AFC C License.
· A bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field is preferred.
· Hold an up-to-date Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications.
· Nutrition certificates (Preferred).
· Clear Police Check and BackGround Check.
Responsibilities:
· Determining individual player abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, and factoring these into the gameplay and strategy sessions.
· Ensuring the football field is available for practice sessions and that players show up on time.
· Ensuring all sports equipment is available and in working order.
· Helping to create a supportive, professional team environment in which all players are able to reach their potential.
· Report any concerns to the Technical Director related to (players, parents, staff members)
· Know how to deal with the questions that contemporary young people and their educators pose to trainers
· Help out with set up, pick up the tools and to do assessments reports for each player.
· Keep up to date with the latest trends, techniques and news in football training and incorporate them into training programs.
· Attend meetings with the technical director and staff to keep up to date on player progression.
· To understand player pathways and the development process of players.
· Assist and support coaches in the general control, management, and conduct of Academy players, ensuring adherence to the Academy Code of Conduct.
· Assist with other age groups with training and game day when needed.
· Assists in the scouting and evaluation of potential players for the team.
· Assists in planning and executing tournaments, leagues, and camps.
· Ensure that all players receive regular and honest feedback on their development throughout the season, while managing levels of expectations.
· Ensuring effective interaction and keeping good relationships with players and team members.
· Implement the Academy methodology, effective practice, and game plans through the Academy Curriculum, style of play, and periodization.
Requirements:
· Previous experience and the ability to work with different age groups from 6 14.
· Strong understanding of player development principles and age-appropriate coaching methodologies.
· Ability to design training sessions.
· The Candidate must possess: Excellent communication, reliable and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with players, parents, and fellow staff members.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and creativity.
· To be dynamic and involved during the training session.
· To have experience working with players from varying backgrounds and cultures.
