Purpose of Job
Jobholders at this level are capable of operating with minimal supervision. They work within guidelines and procedures in order to prepare more complex, specialized or ad-hoc reports in their related field. They contribute to the completion of milestones or operational targets within the assigned functional area.
They undertake operational activities including participating in the development of IT security access guidelines, policies and procedures. Diagnose user requests, incidents and escalated tickets related to IT security access within SLA. Contribute in the ongoing business support for access management around the clock. Participate in the implementation of the change requests related to IT security access. Monitor the performance of IT security Access Management against set of KPIs and highlight gaps.
Job Resposiblites
IT Security Access Management
- Stay updated with IT security Access Management trends, understand business needs, and develop ZATCA IT security Access Management guidelines, policies and procedures to provide full protection of IT environment
- Follow IT security Access Management operational standards, and accordingly operate IT security access including administration and maintenance (identity, authentication, and authorization) of networks, solutions, systems, applications and devices
- Collect identity information of all service users, manage the complete lifecycle of access, identity and accounts and document all needed information
- Receive requests for granting, changing or restricting access rights to services, enable access and authorization to systems and devices based on technical processes and requests, and manage ongoing business support for access management around the clock
- Receive IT security access incidents and escalated tickets, handle the received incidents and tickets according to their priority, and provide the proper resolution in timely and effective manner within the agreed SLAs
- Gather information on the received change requests related to IT security access, conduct impact analysis to prioritize and schedule the change requests, implement the change requests accordingly, and measure their effectiveness
- Monitor the access to ZATCA systems, devices and applications, report issues, and provide recommendations
- Collect the actual performance of IT security Access Management, analyze the collected metrics, identify gaps against set of KPIs, and generate periodical reports with appropriate corrective actions in order to eliminate or mitigate IT security access risks
Organization and Operations
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
- Perform other duties as requested
People Management
- Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff
- Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes
