Job Title: Events Account Executive
Summary/Objective
The Events Account Executive is responsible for building and maintaining solid relationships with clients, ensuring their events are executed flawlessly and exceed expectations. This role involves coordinating all aspects of event planning, from initial conception to post-event follow-up, talking to clients, and showing them the profiles and brochures. The Events Account Executive will serve as clients primary point of contact, ensuring their needs are met and their events are successful.
Essential Functions
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and effective communication.
- Manage client expectations and ensure their satisfaction throughout the event planning process.
- Event Planning and Execution: Collaborate with clients to develop event concepts and proposals that align with their goals and budget.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and on-site execution.
- Oversee event budgets, ensuring they are adhered to and providing regular updates to clients.
- Manage event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the planning or execution phases.
- Post-Event Follow-Up: Conduct post-event debriefs with clients to gather feedback and evaluate event success.
- Prepare post-event reports and provide recommendations for future events.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to nurture relationships and identify future opportunities.

This position may have supervisory responsibility for event coordinators or assistants.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and may require travel to event sites. The role may involve working evenings and weekends as needed to support event execution.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in event management, hospitality, marketing or a related field
- Minimum five years of experience in event planning or account management
Preferred Education and Experience
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation or similar certification
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Experience managing large-scale events
