Summary:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with clients in the software-as-a-service (SAAS) industry, particularly within the tech startup sector. You will play a crucial role in understanding client needs, providing personalized solutions, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and proactive communication.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prospect and qualify leads, conduct product demonstrations, and close new business deals.
- Develop account plans and strategies to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and lifetime value.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's SAAS products, features, and capabilities, as well as industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
- Ensure successful onboarding and implementation of new clients, working closely with customer success and support teams to address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in sales or account management are a plus.
- Proven experience in sales or account management, with a track record of success in selling SAAS products or services.
- C1/C2 English proficiency
- Demonstrated experience working with tech startups or within the tech industry, with a strong understanding of startup dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.
- Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and close deals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively, empathize with clients, and understand their business needs.
