Role Summary
- To maintain the customers records to streamline accounting operations.
- To facilitate the International Markets and other service departments within the company, by providing reliable Information & reports.
- To establish and maintain effective working environment & communicates effectively with Customers and other service departments.
Responsibilities
- Follow up & communicate with all distributors except Gulf and Iraq for timely settlement of due invoices and sending them monthly statement of account to ensure proper reconciliation of the accounts receivable.
- Commercial business models include very good understanding and exposure to distributors negotiation and relationship management, reconciliations and controls.
- Confirmation with distributors on cluster wise sales made every month along with proper allocation, commission percentages, freight, etc.
- Monitoring processing of invoices and liaison with supply chain and country head to resolve all payment related challenges.
- Closely follow up with Govt. institutions against direct tender as well as distributors for timely settlement of dues.
- Monitor and control the customer's credit limits by analyzing the overdue and expected dues of customers.
- Quarterly balance confirmation from customers.
- SBLC / LC's : follow up with the concerned bank once the SBLC / LC is issued by customer, upon receiving the documents from bank to check and notifying the discrepancies if any, and the same to update in system. Once the documentation from supply chain to is completed the same to check and forward it to concerned bank.
- Follow up with the bank after submission of the LC documents till it is settled and recording of LC related receipt.
- Coordinate and communicate with country manager related to open orders, SBLC and LC
- Responsible for maintaining bed debts provision according to IFRS 9 - Expected credit loss framework.
- Manage day-to-day activities relating to accounts receivable, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognize good performance.
- Responsible for the period end closing of accounts receivable.
- Prepare and circulate of monthly accounts receivable aging reports of KSA and International Markets customers to the concern persons.
- Prepare Monthly report of tenders classifying the overdue status of each under different aging brackets.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual collection forecasting reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4- 6 years of experience in the same field.
- Minimum 2 3 Years working experience in Credit Control and Risk management.
- Bachelor degree in in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. MBA, CFA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA etc.
- SAP ERP experience is more advantage
- Ability to work efficiently to complete the assigned tasks.
- Strong Interpersonal and Negotiation Skills
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel
- Fluency in Arabic & English languages.
