We're looking for an Accountant to join our team.
- Performs day to day accounting transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data
- Reviews all invoices for accuracy and approval prior to processingoutgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Ensures landed costs of imported inventory are recorded according to established procedures
- Reconciles the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verifiesand investigates discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Generatesreports detailing accounts payable status
- Assists in preparing and presenting financial statements and reports for management and external agencies
- Petty Cash Management monitor cash, expense bookings
- Preparation of tax returns in line with local regulations and submit to manager for review and approval before payment and filing to the portal.
- Monthly bank reconciliation and submit to manager for review.
- Adheres to local regulations and company policies
- Any other duties as specified
Requirements
- Experienced in Accounts Payable for at least 2 years
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent certifications
- Knowledgeable in general bookkeeping and banking
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Experience working with an ERP system (preferablySage X3)
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
