ACCOUNTANT

Job Title: Accountant - Al Attiyah Architectural Construction

• Location: Doha, Qatar

• Job Summary:

Al Attiyah Architectural Construction is seeking an experienced Accountant with a background in construction or fit-out companies. The ideal candidate will possess strong English communication skills, be knowledgeable about banking procedures, and be self-motivated with contractual experience.

• Key Responsibilities:

Perform data entry and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Conduct auditing processes to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Manage relationships with banks, including handling bank correspondence and transactions.

• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

Prepare financial reports and statements as required.

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.

Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, attested by the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the construction or fit-out industries.

Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

• Strong knowledge of banking procedures and financial regulations.

Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.

• Familiarity with Qatari financial regulations and tax laws.

Experience with ERP systems.
