Accountant- Cost Accounting (Required):
Analyse and allocate costs to specific departments, projects, or products.- Prepare cost reports and variance analyses.
Support budget development and monitoring.
- 2. Day-to-Day Accounting Entries:
Financial Data Entry and General Bookkeeping
- Prepare receipts, payment, vouchers, invoices, etc. on the ERP System.
Record all financial transactions accurately and timely.- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
Maintain general ledger balances.
Process invoices for payment according to company policy.
- Manage vendor relationships and communication.
Ensure timely payments and maintain positive vendor relationships.
Issue invoices and manage customer accounts.- Collect payments and follow up on delinquent accounts.
Apply cash receipts accurately and timely.
Process and record all incoming and outgoing payments.
- Manage petty cash and other cash-handling procedures.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
Complete online tasks and submissions for tax authorities or other regulatory bodies.- Ensure timely and accurate filing of necessary reports.
Perform monthly closing procedures, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.- Compile and analyze financial statements and reports.
Communicate financial results to management.
Calculate and record VAT payable and recoverable amounts.
- Prepare VAT Returns & VAT Filing
Stay updated on changes in VAT regulations.
Prepare and analyse financial reports for management decision-making.- Identify trends and provide insights into the financial performance of the company.
Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Assist with Financial Audit
- 10. Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accounting files and records.
- Assist with other tasks assigned by the Finance manager.
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience working as an accountant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
