About Us:
Assiyana is dedicated to efficient and effective financial management, ensuring our company's long-term success. We are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage our financial transactions, including fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, and budgets. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting principles and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Handle daily accounting transactions, including journal vouchers, bank reconciliations, supplier and customer reconciliations, and trial balance preparation.
Prepare NSSF and Payroll schedules.
Manage VAT and income tax declarations.
Oversee end-of-month closing operations, billing, and accounts receivables.
Produce monthly financial statements, maintain the balance sheet, and manage depreciation schedules.
Serve as the primary contact with external consultants for our accounting software.
Participate in the preparation of annual budgets, annual reports, and other significant financial and statistical reports.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
2-3 years of experience as an accountant.
Strong personal integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g., Dolphin).
