Key Responsibilities:· Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledgers, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
. Reconcile VAT authorities accounts with tax return submissions and make necessary adjustment entries.
· Submission of ESR.
· Conduct periodic reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer accounts to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reimbursements.
· Oversee payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and timely payment to employees in accordance with labor laws and company policies.
. Ownership of petty cash funds with regular reporting
· Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, recommending improvements where necessary.
· Collaborate with internal departments.
· Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation.
Experience: Ship Chartering & Operating / Trading 3 5 years (Preferred)
- Deep knowledge of Accounting and IFRS standards
Bachelors degree required; concentration in accounting or finance preferred- Strong knowledge of and experience with international tax processes
Mastery knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally.
Sound knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.- Strong oral and written communication skills
