Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Prepare documentation and support external audits.
- Track project costs and prepare job cost reports.
Assist in evaluating project profitability and performance.- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- CPA certification required.
2-3 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
