network in food. We are looking for a talented individual to take on the role of Accountant & Data
Analyst. This position will involve managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and providing
data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and optimize business performance.
ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions, including payments, invoices, and receipts, in the accounting system.
- Conduct month-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and depreciation.
- Prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Process and reconcile electronic payments and transfers for accounts payable and other operational expenses.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, following up on outstanding invoices and ensuring timely payment collections.
- Maintain accurate records of fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
- Processing of all staff related entries including but not limited to payroll, reimbursements and gratuity)
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns ensuring compliance with local legislation.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze financial data, recruitment metrics, and large datasets to provide insights and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate business-critical reports, combining financial and recruitment data for management review.
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and other documentation required for decision-making.
CRM & Data Management
- Maintain accurate financial data within the CRM system, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all entries.
- Train team members on best practices for managing financial data and using the CRM for reporting.
- Continuously optimize CRM and financial reporting systems to improve efficiency and support the agency's financial needs.
COMPANY WIDE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with a strong emphasis on data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
