Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of ecommerce accounting, including revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and sales tax compliance.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Stay up-to-date on ecommerce accounting best practices and evolving regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including management, operations, and auditors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in an ecommerce accounting role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
