Summary
We are looking to hire an Accountant to join us in achieving global leadership and enriching knowledge by making it available to Arabic-speaking people wherever they are. The successful candidate shall be responsible for maintaining general ledger entries and reconciling financial statements. Also, will be for ensuring that the ledger data is accurate.
Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system, ensuring accurate bookkeeping.
Post and process journal entries to document all business transactions.
Regularly maintain and update the finance database for accuracy and accessibility.
Execute bank transfers through manual, online, and governmental payment systems.
Proactively follow up with banks to resolve any outstanding issues.
Organize and file documents in both digital and physical formats as required.
Adhere to financial policies and regulations, while contributing to the enhancement of internal documentation.
Update accounts receivable and generate invoices.
Perform various accounting tasks as assigned or needed.
Manage financial transactions with vendors and suppliers.
Engage with various banks to oversee account management.
Assist in reviewing expenses, payroll records, and assets as assigned.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.
Support the preparation of monthly and yearly financial closings as necessary.
Assist with additional accounting projects as required.
Qualifications and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
Over one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
Proficient in Arabic.
Advanced proficiency in English.
Solid understanding of e-invoices and tax regulations.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
