Job Overview:
The Accountant - Insurance is responsible for managing insurance claims, overseeing collection processes, accurately posting payments, and reconciling accounts. The role involves verifying and submitting insurance and corporate claims, resubmitting rejected claims, ensuring timely collection and posting of payments, and maintaining reconciliation of claims against bank payments.
Key Responsibilities:
Claim management
- Insurance and corporate Claim verification and submission within the timeline.
- Re-submission of rejected claims as applicable.
Collection, Payment Posting
- Collection of MPC Retail pharmacies and its posting in SAP.
- Posting of payments in different internal systems like SAP/Quortec/Oracle.
- Posting of the intercompany and other corporate payments in SAP/Quortec/Oracle.
Reconciliation
- Collection of remittance details from insurance portals and related sources.
- Claim reconciliation with insurance portals and internal billing system on daily basis.
- 100% allocation of the insurance claims against the bank payment within the timeline in SAP/Quortec/Oracle.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting.
- 1-2 years of experience in insurance claim management, preferably in medical centers or pharmacies within the UAE.
- Good Knowledge on insurance claim submission, reconciliation and resubmission from any medical center and pharmacy in UAE.
- Experienced in all insurance portals and regulatory post offices.
- Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point) is a must.
- Knowledge in SAP/Oracle is an advantage.
