Skill Farm Members are invited to apply for the following role:
Responsibilities:
Track and record prepayments for various expenses. Ensure that prepayments are amortized appropriately over the relevant periods and are accurately reflected in the financial statements.
Reconcile VAT transactions to ensure compliance with tax regulations. Prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time, addressing any discrepancies that may arise.
Compare credit card statements with internal records to verify transactions. Identify and resolve any discrepancies, ensuring that all expenses are accurately recorded.
Reconcile bank statements with the company's accounting records. Investigate and resolve any differences to ensure accurate cash balances are reported.
Manage and record petty cash and imprest expenses. Ensure all transactions are appropriately documented and accurately recorded through journal vouchers (JVs).
Monitor and reconcile expenditures against the approved Capex budget. Ensure that all capital projects are tracked and reported accurately.
Prepare and post cash payment vouchers (CPVs) and cash receipt vouchers (CRVs).
Generate and analyze cash flow reports.
Regularly update the P&L forecast to reflect actual performance and anticipated future results. Provide variance analysis and explanations for deviations from the budget.
Ensure all necessary journal entries are prepared and posted at month-end and year-end. This includes accruals, prepayments, and adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
