(Some Of) What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and stocks for Snoomart.
- Provide detailed financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
- Monitor daily inventory movement, waste and return management, inventory costing.
- Implement and maintain effective cost control measures in ERP System to optimize the financial performance of the Snoomart.
- Conduct regular reviews of expenses, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure cost-effective sourcing of FMCG supplies.
- Review and track contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Monitor periodic and annual inventory counting.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets for the Snoomart.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations during the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor budget performance and work with department heads to address deviations.
- Manage and forecast cash flows for the Snoomart warehouse operations.
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Implement cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and adapt policies accordingly.
- Lead a team of accounting professionals within the Snoomart finance department.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure a high level of performance.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Review and validate supplier invoices and statements.
Attitude matters most but do you have any of these
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an accountant, FMCG or Retail store Industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Odoo ERP,Odoo procurement and Odoo Inventory Management.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
