Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Develop and implement efficient financial processes and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the technology or e-learning industry is a plus
