Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager at Tech Store is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and managing the accounting team. The Accounting Manager plays a critical role in the financial planning, budgeting, and overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting process, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Monitor and report on financial performance against the budget, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the technology or retail sector is a plus.
