The Role

As part of the Accounts Receivable team, you will be essential in managing the company's incoming payments and ensuring accurate tracking and recording of financial transactions. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will help maintain positive relationships with our guests and corporate clients, while supporting the financial stability of Red Sea Global Hospitality.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. In this role, you will need to:

  • Invoice Generation: Prepare and issue invoices to guests and corporate clients promptly, ensuring accuracy in billing and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Payment Processing: Monitor and record incoming payments, ensuring accurate application to accounts and maintaining detailed records of all transactions.
  • Collections Management: Develop and implement effective collection strategies to follow up on overdue accounts while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable balances, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing reports related to accounts receivable performance, providing insights into outstanding balances and cash flow projections for management review.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the accounting system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality for all accounts receivable transactions.
  • Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, assisting in audits and reviews as required.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve any billing or payment issues that may arise.

Qualifications and Standards

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel). Familiarity with data entry and accounting processes is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional client relations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ethical Standards: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
