The International University of Science & Technology in Kuwait (IUK) is a newly established private university in Kuwait, with a new Campus located in the heart of Kuwait near the Avenues Mall. Fully accredited by the Private Universities Council (PUC), the University offers a wide range of academic programs in Engineering, Business, and Arts and Social Sciences. In addition to the academic programs, the IUK has established the University Foundation Program (UFP) that offers English and Math foundation programs.
IUK is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Admissions Specialist to join our Student Recruitment & Admissions Department.
Position Summary
The primary role of the Admissions Specialist is to participate in student recruitment campaigns and help new students to select their academic career during the admission season and registration processes.
Responsibilities
Students Recruitment:
- Support the planning & execution of marketing campaigns and events.
- Support the preparation of event calendar for the academic year, which will include school visits and open days.
- Actively support in developing a network of recruiting channels (public and private schools).
Admission
- Provide educational guidance on major selection.
- Help the students during the admission process.
- Schedule placement test, collect fee and deliver scores.
- Assist students in the admission process and all the related logistics efficiently.
- Assist students during the PUC scholarship admission period.
- Upload required documents to the PUC portal to complete the PUC scholarship applications.
Course Registration
- Collaborate with the Registration Dept.to collect and complete all transfer documents.
- Communicate decision/requirements with students
Qualifications
- A Bachelor degree from an accredited University, MBA preferred
- Professional Certificates are an asset
Experience
- Minimum 7 years experience working in Higher Education, out of which at least 3 years in a similar position.

- Full English and Arabic proficiency are required.
