Job Description
- Responsible to review Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system design, calculations model submitted by the contractors to check the compliance with specifications required by the contract, client's requirement and local operation practice.
- Responsible for control engineering activities for one or several functions from architecture to detailed specification, interface and functional principle.
- Experience in maintenance of TOM/CIPD,TVM, Turnstile passenger gates, SCU and other workstations.
- Experience in AFC systems/sub-systems components interfaces, integrations and configurations.
- He/she oversees the work of contractors, and ensure they comply with safety requirements and operating standards.
- He/She is required to carry out duties in the at various railway stations during Installations,T&C.
- Ensure work produced is technically accurate and delivered in accordance with the appropriate standards.
- Provide relevant input for regular and ad-hoc reports.
Qualifications
- BSc degree in electrical/mechanical engineering
- General overall experience (10) years including
- 6 years of professional experience in the same field.
- 4 years of experience in management and implementation of similar projects and in a similar position.
- Will have knowledge of the main structural systems used in the Metro and the safety requirements for the designs, according to international standards and accepted best practice.
- Arabic: Native
- English: Bilingual proficiency
- Strong communications, coordination, and management skills
