Role Description

The Air Monitoring Senior Specialist ensures compliance with air quality regulations in construction projects by designing and managing air monitoring programs, analyzing data, and providing mitigation recommendations. This role involves regular air sampling, data reporting, and collaboration with project teams to minimize environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Air Quality Monitoring:

  • Develop and implement air quality monitoring plans for construction projects.
  • Conduct regular air sampling and testing to measure pollutant levels.
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of air monitoring equipment

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze air quality data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Identify trends and potential environmental impacts related to construction activities.
  • Provide recommendations to mitigate negative air quality impacts.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in air quality regulations and update company policies accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in air quality monitoring and environmental compliance, preferably in the construction industry.
  • IOSH certification and NEBOSH certification are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of air quality monitoring techniques, equipment, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with local, regional, and national air quality regulations air quality regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using air monitoring software and tools
