Job Purpose
The Utilities Director is responsible for leading the inspection and maintenance of all Utilities across Dammam Airports Company .
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain all the utilities and plants in line with quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement the airport utilities and equipment maintenance plan, working with all airport users, Security Affairs, Safety and Quality functions, to ensure airport utilities and equipment are maintained in line with the respective standards.
- Manage and assess the performance of third-party contractors responsible for providing utilities and equipment services within the airport and estate, with support from Procurement department, regularly inspecting contractor operations to ensure compliance with the respective standards.
- Monitor and inspect asset handovers involving DACO functions and 3rd party contractors, working with the Finance function to report asset condition and help maintain the asset register.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and any additional ad-hoc will be assigned as per work requirement.
- Contribute to divisional business plans, and develop the department's objectives, annual plan, and Utilities & Equipment strategy, and manage its execution in line with the division's business plan and strategy.
- Monitor the operational performance of the department against the approved targets and KPIs, report on variances to the Director, and manage the implementation of corrective measures in coordination with the Corporate Performance Management function.
- Responsible for managing his own administrative needs.
- Ensure that all Maintenance policies and processes are applied according to Maintenance regulations.
- Monitor utility usage in the airport's facilities and provide recommendations that aim to reduce direct electrical and water usage where possible.
- Review reactive work to identify causes of failure, repetitive offending assets, and work practices to identify ways to Planned vs. Reactive Workload Balance.
- Perform analysis to assist the performance of the handling of work orders and suggest recommendations to enhance the implemented processes.
- Complies with All DACO Policies & Procedures including Safety and reporting hazards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and any additional ad-hoc will be assigned as per work requirement.
Education Prerequisites
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering
