JOB SUMMARYThe AJYAL Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the seamless execution and operational success of the AJYAL program. This position requires an organized, proactive individual skilled in managing multiple facets of a project, from digital workspace maintenance to event coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS - (including but not limited to):
- Intranet Management: Oversees the operation and upkeep of the AJYAL intranet, ensuring it functions effectively as the central hub for project communication and resource sharing. The incumbent must be proficient in SharePoint to enhance and tailor the platform to meet program needs.
- Participant Registration: Manages the entire lifecycle of participants registrations, from initial sign-up to final confirmation. This includes handling inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining up-to-date registration records.
- Event Coordination: Organizes all logistical aspects of AJYAL events, from planning stages through to execution. Responsibilities include venue selection, equipment setup, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Program Development: Contributes to and manages all aspects related to the development of AJYAL in its various phases.
- Team Collaboration: Works closely with other team members, including the Communication Coordinator and educational staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to program delivery. This includes regular reporting on project status and participating in team meetings.
- Performs other tasks as needed.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint and ability to manage digital platforms.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good writing and verbal skills in English and French.
- Ability to work and collaborate in a dynamic intercultural and international context.
- Ability to work effectively and remain calm under pressure.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required in business administration master's degree preferred.
- 3- 5 years of experience in project coordination, particularly in educational or cultural settings.
