About this role
As a
Business Consultant you will be part of Aladdin eFront EMEA business and work on deploying our industry-leading private markets technology solutions.
Business Consultants have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients ranging across several asset classes, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, private debt, and venture capital, advising clients on system standard processes and workflows around fundraising, deal pipeline management, fund management, portfolio management, investment monitoring, as well as producing related financial statements and regulatory reporting.
Business Consultants are encouraged to be organized and efficient, simultaneously managing multiple client assignments, assuming responsibility and accountability for delivering entire components of a project.
Responsibilities
- Leading workshops with clients, providing training on our out-of-the-box solutions, advising clients on industry standard solutions, acting as eFront Product expert.
- Analyzing and detailing our clients investment structures, current business processes and reporting needs.
- Analyzing clients business requirements and performing a gap analysis versus our standard methodology solutions, challenging clients on their existing business processes and requirements, where appropriate.
- Working in conjunction with our Implementation Consultant team, crafting, implementing, testing solutions to meet client business requirements.
- Working alongside Project Managers, managing day-to-day client relationships on projects, providing effort estimates and supporting project planning and task allocation.
- Providing ongoing client advisory and support during the implementation, including solving data migration/reconciliation issues and UAT.
- Collaborating with teammates from across the EMEA Implementation group, contributing to knowledge sharing and helping to build an inclusive and encouraging environment.
- Partnering closely with our Product team to communicate new requirements and trends you're seeing with our clients to help craft product innovation.
If you see yourself doing these activities, you probably have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from recognized university (finance background).
- Prior experience as Business Consultant in technology, ideally with exposure to Private Markets or broader financial industry.
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience.
- Hands-on packaged software implementation experience.
- Technical skills/background is a plus, curiosity for technical aspects is a must.
- Outstanding analytical competence, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Superb communication, interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Preferred but not required: CFA or CAIA qualification (or similar)
- Long term Ability to travel.
