· Review technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the requirements for metal fabrication projects.
· Measuring and cutting aluminium materials with precision and Assembling, welding, and finishing aluminium products.
· Cut, bend, and shape metal components using a range of fabrication equipment such as saws, lathes, drill presses, and grinders.
· Weld or join metal components together using various techniques and methods including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
· Assemble and construct metal products, ensuring that the final product is accurate, functional, and meets the required specifications.
· Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Regularly maintain and clean all metal fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery used in the workshop.
· Collaborate with team members, including designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.
· Continuously develop knowledge of industry trends and advancements in metal fabrication techniques.
· Proven experience as a Fabricator or a similar role in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
· Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, tools, and machinery.
· Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
· Able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a variety of physical positions.
· Expertise in welding techniques and procedures including MIG, TIG, and ARC.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
· Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers.
· Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and trends in the industry.
· High school diploma or equivalent; a certification in metal fabrication or a related field is a plus.
