Analyst, Regional Margin Desk

Purpose

Responsible for monitoring the financial and asset position of the margin clients and the firm's margin portfolios in the UAE, KSA, Structured Products and OLT.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct margin calls with clients who exceed the acceptable margin percentage.

2. Calculate client's margin interest and compare it to the commissions generated on a monthly basis and sent monthly report to accounts in each country to change/waive margin.

3. Responsible for the credit assessment of OLT, SP and KSA.

4. Produce requested reports for the local regulator and exchange and send markets weekly and monthly reports.

5. Assist his/her manager in:

a. approving OLT products on Saxotools.

b. approving the new structure products for trading.

c. creating and updating margin securities lists in UAE and KSA.

6. Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of the role.

7. Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.

8. Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or other related disciplines.
2. 0 - 4 years experience in a similar role.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
4. Can multi task and prioritize assignments and requests.
5. Good command of the Arabic and English.
6. Good communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
7. Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.
8. Detail oriented; works with a high degree of accuracy.
9. Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.
10. Ensure deliverable are always of a high quality.
11. Able to work independently and under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail.
