JOB PURPOSE:
A dynamic and results-oriented Application Development Sr. Manager to lead and inspire our development teams in delivering exceptional software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing Agile development teams, driving innovation, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Strategic Contribution
Build, develop, and mentor high-performing development teams.

Agile Leadership
Champion Agile methodologies and foster a collaborative, self-organizing team culture.
Implement and refine Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to optimize development processes
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.) and ensure team
alignment
Technical Expertise
Possess a strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and technologies.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
Manage SAP and Non-SAP developments
Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders.
Effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
Manage expectations and ensure alignment between business and IT goals.
Quality Assurance
Implement and enforce quality standards and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Drive continuous improvement in software quality and performance.
Core Accountabilities
Lead strategic direction of Nidec's application development and channels portfolio to ensure continuous
increase in the department operational efficiency.
Manage business relationships with business owners ,vendors and service providers to ensure developing
and maintaining strategic and operational relationships.
Lead the development of IT roadmap pertaining to new applications and their deployments, while
ensuring to update long-term IT roadmap and initiatives.
Review and approve requirements and identified gaps in new/existing applications functionality in order
to collect demand for new functionality or changes on technological services.
Lead the maintenance and support of all applications by resolving escalations of major incidents and
thus advise on change management.
Lead the proper delivery of projects in the pipeline ,review and approve cost estimation, time, and
resources to deploy solutions and projects.
Lead the development of channels, business, and enterprise applications and oversees any changes to the integration architecture while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategic goals.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Manage the development and implementation of the Finance / Information Technology policies, systems,
processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement, to ensure efficient and effective
operation.
Ensure compliance with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related
to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.
Change Management
Motivate the employees and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of
systems, processes and practices taking into account global best practices.
Ensure that all departmental reports and statements are completed timely and comply with local and
international principles of governance and the organization's policies and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Education and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field from an accredited institution is required
Master's degree or MBA is preferred
Experience with specific development technologies and platforms (e.g., ABAP, .NET, Java, Python,
cloud technologies).
Certifications in Agile methodologies
Experience:
7-12 years of IT experience, with exposure to IT project management department
Experience in application development and IT project delivery
Skills:
Superior customer service skills, must be able to quickly understand a customer's needs
Experienced in Project Lifecycle
