The Architect plays a crucial role in conceptualizing, designing, and executing visually stunning and structurally sound event spaces.
This position collaborates closely with clients, event designers, production teams, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative and memorable event experiences.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conceptual Design:
- Develop initial design concepts for event spaces, including stages, temporary structures, exhibition booths, and other event-related architecture.
- Translate client and creative team ideas into feasible architectural designs that meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Work closely with event designers, production teams, engineers, and contractors to ensure that architectural designs are implemented correctly and efficiently.
- Participate in regular meetings with clients and project teams to discuss design progress, address challenges, and make necessary adjustments.
Architectural Planning:
- Create detailed architectural plans, elevations, and sections for event spaces, ensuring that designs are both practical and innovative.
- Develop site plans and layouts that optimize space utilization and enhance attendee experience.
3D Modelling & Visualization:
- Produce 3D models and renderings to visualize the event space and provide a realistic preview of the design.
- Use visualization tools to explore different design options and present them to clients and stakeholders for approval.
Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive architectural documentation, including construction drawings, material specifications, and structural details.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate, clear, and compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.
Site Inspections & Supervision:
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess conditions, verify measurements, and oversee the installation of architectural elements.
- Ensure that construction and setup activities align with the approved architectural plans and address any on-site issues promptly.
- Manage project timelines to ensure that architectural deliverables are completed on schedule.
Post-Event Evaluation:
- Participate in post-event evaluations to assess the success of the architectural design and gather feedback for future improvements.
- Document lessons learned and best practices to enhance the design process for future events.
