Riser Platform (RP) Brownfield Architectural Supervisor
Duties And Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparation and follow-up of the Integration & hook-up activities related to the Project, including:
Safety
- Complete necessary safety trainings (e.g., IF+, HSE Golden Rules, Offshore training) on time.
- Understand HSE Policy and KPIs, demonstrating responsible HSE behavior throughout the project.
- Observe safety standards, engage in unsafe activity interventions (e.g., stop work), and create observation cards.
- Regularly attend Toolbox Meetings (TBM) to ensure safe offshore activities.
- Ensure work preparation considers SIMOPS conditions where applicable.
- Pursue HSE objectives defined by hierarchical superiors.
Offshore Work Preparation and Execution
- Coordinate, realize, and follow up on architectural activities, including:
- Follow-up EPCIC contractor's architectural preparations.
- Oversee architectural construction activities, including pre-commissioning.
- Ensure completion of construction and pre-commissioning activities for efficient handover to the Commissioning team.
- Liaise with contractors/subcontractors on architectural subjects.
- Track and report contractor/subcontractor progress.
- Provide KPI information and regular reporting on offshore architectural construction.
- Contribute to engineering and procurement processes with inputs on construction.
- Participate in design checks for constructability and technical compliance.
- Prepare necessary permits and documentation in line with client standards.
- Ensure quality and traceability of fabrication and review drawings (AFC, shop, as-built).
- Monitor material delivery and ensure readiness for offshore execution.
- Participate in risk analysis, meetings, technical queries, and lessons learned activities.
- Manage as-built dossiers and ensure their proper handling.
Onshore Preparation
- Review and coordinate Brownfield fabrication activities, work packs, and job cards.
- Ensure readiness of materials and equipment for offshore execution.
- Plan site activities for safe and efficient offshore work.
- Review shutdown preparation and temporary construction equipment readiness.
JOB DIMENSIONS
- Based at EPCIC Contractor's premises during execution (India, Oman, or Qatar).
- Possibility of worldwide missions for project development and execution follow-up.
- Collaboration with construction discipline leads/supervisors for RP Greenfield and Brownfield to monitor progress.
- Offshore stage assignment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree / HND or equivalent in a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in offshore oil & gas.
- Knowledge of Project Management best practices.
- Experience in offshore construction and hook-up under SIMOPS and Brownfield conditions mandatory.
- EPC supervision on client side preferable.
- Skills:
- Familiarity with General Specifications, MANASA, and relevant codes/standards.
- Fluent in English and computer literate.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and complex environment.
- Certifications: H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
- Regional Experience: Qatar or Middle East preferred.
