JOB TITLE: Area Manager
REPORTING LINE: Regional Sales Director MEIA
LOCATION: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
MAIN PURPOSE
To develop and grow according to Montblanc's strategy & budget. Responsible for brand development in the designated territory, to participate in the elaboration of the strategic plan and to be in-charge of its implementation. To develop the distribution on the territory and propose necessary adjustments. To ensure the highest level of service to the accounts.
Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
- Responsible for annual, quarterly and monthly achievement of sales
- In charge of the retailization of external boutique network related to direct partners.
- Develop long-lasting and strong relationships with principals and sales professionals in the wholesale network
- Develop, negotiate and follow-up of business plans with distributors and wholesale partners
- Manage the day-to-day sales activities with all clients in the designated area
- Develop specific activity plans to ensure revenue growth in all products lines
- Ensure excellent brand presentation in all POS is up to standard (Furniture, displays, staff, sales processes, customer service)
- Evaluate the existing dealer network and proposing recommendations for improving distribution
- Negotiate key locations for boutiques in line with development strategy of the brand
- Implementation and revamp of SIS in key locations
- Follow up on payments and credit limits compliance
Reporting
- Process and constant update of sell-in, sell-out and stock reports
- Prepare meaningful market and competitors reports and partner with Sales Director
- Align and compare practices between internal & external boutiques
Sales Administration Back-Up
- Follow up on forecasts by customers, back-orders and novelties and liaise with the Supply Chain Manager and Sales Administrators
- Identify turnover opportunities, and implement stock models by channels
- Implement best practices from internal retail boutiques within external boutiques at a regional level
Marketing & Training
- Coordinate with the Marketing team all trade marketing activities (events, cooperations, promotions)
- With the help of internal trainers, organize and perform training sessions in order to enhance knowledge of sales team on the brand and the products.
