Job Summary
The Artificial Lift Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The Artificial Lift Mechanical Technician improves maintenance related nonproductive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base, improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity.
Job Description
- Ensure equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands, and for increasing the utilization and efficiency of assets.
- Perform activities as assigned by the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or Technician.
- Work under direct supervision of Technicians or Maintenance Supervisors.
- Shop floor activities cover all but not limited to: equipment reception, storage, washing and handling, Technical inspection, assembly preparation, pressure testing and torquing activities, load out and back load of assemblies from ports / rigs
- Ensure that assigned equipment is maintained according to the Maintenance system, following the tool maintenance programs and standard work instructions.
- Adhere to transactional discipline within TLM business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain.
- Comply with Completion TLM standards.
- Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives and remedial work plans to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
Qualifications And Experience
- Years of experience required: 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in assembly, disassembly, inspection, failure analysis of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP)
- Education background: Technical school (2+ years) or Military experience
- Strong Project Management and HSSE skills
- Fluency in English
