Role:
Exciting role for an experienced Planner, in this role you will be in a unique hybrid position that will have key responsibilities in both the demand and inventory stock planning for assigned brands. You will efficiently and effectively collaborate with teams in product, brand, warehouse, sourcing/ manufacturing, and finance to grow revenue and profitability through improving supply line planning and forecast accuracy. You will be ensuring that orders are received, shipped on-time and inventory reports are fully up-to-date at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver maximum product availability in the category within budgeted inventory targets through effective end-to-end management of supply.
- Forecasts for future inventory based on historical buys, reoccurring buys and current inventory levels.
- Make seasonal recommendations on the assortment plans in alignment with the Product Managers; Align the collections to have a perfectly executed phase ins, phase outs, and liquidation lines
- Placing orders with supplier and overall stock management within the parameters defined by the Commercial Head, based on the approvals acquired
- Directly responsible for generating monthly sales, stock, related open to buy reports across various inter-group companies
- Manage stock flow from source to partners / distributors in line with budget/sales targets, ensuring just in time deliveries to them
- Reduce overstock inventory and highlighting slow selling products to Sales Managers, and push all such liquidations stocks to various markets / regions
- Working closely with product/ sales teams to ensure clean exits of discontinued lines
- Provide regular analysis of product trends and recommendations that support effective inventory management to senior management.
- Responsible to plan and work closely with key accounts, and ensure the customer requirements are met, resulting in brand loyalty and increased business
- Working closely with the CSD and procurement teams to ensure the supply meets the demand at all times
- Organize, check and distribute product information to departments
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in stock planning is a must, ideally working with multiple categories
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Self motivated individual who is able to work independently and within a team
- High level of numerical comprehension
- Strong expertise in PC skills including MS Office, especially very strong technical analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables/charts, VLOOKUP and experience handling multiple large data
- Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines
- Experience of the luxury industry will be a plus
- Excellent organization skills and time management
