Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Chief Engineer at Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo. The Assistant Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily engineering operations, including maintenance, repairs, and projects. They will collaborate with the Chief Engineer to ensure the hotel's facilities and infrastructure are properly maintained and meet quality standards. The Assistant Chief Engineer will lead a team of engineers and technicians and provide guidance, support, and training as needed. They will also assist in developing and implementing energy-saving initiatives and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel or resort engineering management
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Experience in maintenance and repair of building infrastructure
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree or certification in engineering or related field
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort not less than 7 years
