As an Assistant Director of Sales - Travel Trade you are responsible to lead and supervise the sales travel trade team to oversee the day to day sales activities, implement action plans and accomplish goals and targets set forth in the sales plan, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
- Generate and maintain major accounts and assign segments through various sales activities (face to face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment, sight inspections, etc.)
Ensure thorough and complete coverage of sales team for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity- Set up all sales objectives, action plans and team targets
Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities at any times
- Closely monitor accounts revenue and business production from travel trade market and run monthly review meetings with Revenue Manager and sales team
Review, analyze market competition changes and implement proactive action plans to meet changes- Establish and maintain files of major tour operators and agents and assist in maintaining the accounts management system
Attend trade fairs and exhibitions as advised by Superiors
