  • Duties & Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable
Generating invoices and account statements
  • Performing account reconciliations
Maintain accounts receivable files and records
  • Accounts Payable
Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Financial Reporting
Preparation of monthly financial report, and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Deliver consistent, timely, accurate, high-quality, and insightful financial reports to facilitate and support decision-making.
Perform variance analysis and trend analysis to show key movements from Budgets, Forecasts and Prior Year.
  • Taxation
Accurately file all direct tax compliance in accordance with country-specific requirements in a timely manner.
  • Handle tax provision and monitor tax balances in the general ledger
  • Financial Control
Implement budgetary control to ensure the costs are within budget.
  • Implement internal controls to ensure that all expenditures are incurred at the right cost
Ensure all types of reconciliations with customers, suppliers, service providers, credit card payments/receipts etc.
  • Ensure that the appropriate approval process is in place in line with group policies and direction for delegation of authorities.
Ensure that approve the delegation of authority matrix is in place and followed for all types of financial and non-financial transactions.
  • Perform risk management on a continuous basis and advise the business on risk mitigation strategies.
Implement internal controls to mitigate all risks from financial, operational, and business perspectives.
  • Team Management
Enhance finance capability through effective management and coaching to drive towards a high-performing finance team.
  • Supervise and train existing team
  • Candidate requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree, accounting or finance management preferred
  • 5-8 years of finance management experience within UAE.
Familiar with UAE accounting/tax rules and regulations
  • Strong communication skills and ownership with minimum monitoring required.
