Core Responsibilities
- Ensures achievement of Value-Added Services Section's targets and objectives, while making certain that operations are compliant with company standards and policies.
- Identify new customers to expand VAS business by introducing the services we offer to potential clients and preparing proposals for fleet customers to maximize opportunities.
- Constant coordination with Sales and Aftersales Managers to facilitate upselling of Value-added Services.
- Coordinate with Marketing Department for strategic promotions and campaigns.
- Oversees quality of service and monitors manpower performance periodically by assuring high efficiency and productivity, and finding ways to consistently motivate the staff towards dedicated work and high-quality service.
- Recommends a range of services and products to be offered, oriented towards the appropriate target groups, with consideration for the competitive environment.
- Strategic procurement of consumables and all materials related to VAS.
- Proper safekeeping and maintenance of the issued tools, doing periodic inventory and taking responsibility for any discrepancy.
- Provides inputs for marketing plan and recommends its implementation.
- Measures customer satisfaction by analysing complaints and providing an action plan to address areas of concern. Submits weekly and monthly reports to General Manager as required.
- Implements Processes and Procedures, and initiates changes if deemed necessary, for continuous improvement.
- Ensures that staff discipline is maintained at all times (e.g. uniform, conduct, and professionalism)
- Supports manpower planning (e.g. hiring/redundancies)
- Monitors the compliance with environmental and health and safety regulations (e.g. fire extinguisher contracts and validity, eyewash, waste disposal, etc.)
- Develops flow charts and checklists for use in the service area to optimize procedures.
- Sets the work schedule of workshop, with the approval of General Manager.
- Consistently reports and updates the General Manager regarding the entire VAS operation and performance.
- Understand and implement the company QHSE and OSH policy. Allocate responsibility for the QHSE management system and delegate authority.
- Lead in QHSE Risk Management activities within their department ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe and appropriate for the betterment of the operation. Also that the necessary procedures, rules, and regulations designed to achieve this are formulated, published, and applied
- Ensure that all new and existing employees in the company are provided with a copy of the policy statement, receive such induction training as may be laid down in procedures, are issued with personal protective equipment as required, and their responsibilities as set out in QHSE Manual.
People Management Responsibilities
- Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process.
- Manages the team members by evaluating their performance, providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs, and coaching them to ensure capability development.
Self Management Responsibilities
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Aftersales Area Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the year.
- Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Aftersales Area Manager to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended.
- Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
- Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor and/or Master degree in business administration or related field (preferred), Technical Diploma or equivalent vocational training and experience
- 3 to 5 years in a related field/role, with managerial or supervisory experience
- Proven ability to work independently and with others
- Able to nurture talent, manage complex human relationships and culturally sensitive.
- MS Office skills.
- English Fluent (required),Arabic (preferred)
