Job Description

Reporting to, Director of Portfolio Investment, this role involves:

- Assisting in structuring and driving investment solutions, including partnerships, business cases, and ROI delivery.

- Developing business plans and conducting feasibility studies for new investments, markets, and strategic acquisitions.

- Supporting the creation of business cases for priority investments and presenting these to senior management, the CEO, and the Board.

- Tracking, reporting, and managing progress on specific portfolio investments.

- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, providing recommendations to support informed decision-making.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Building business cases for investments, partnerships, and ROI delivery, including financial models and business plans.

- Developing feasibility studies for new ventures, markets, and product expansions.

- Monitoring competitive trends, market dynamics, and growth drivers across key portfolio segments.

- Creating frameworks to evaluate current investments and recommend improvements with ROI criteria.

- Collaborating with senior leaders to stress-test business cases and align with strategic goals.

- Driving the formation and implementation of projects from concept to execution, securing resources and engaging partners.

- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring smooth operational execution.

- Monitoring project deliverables and report on KPIs and progress.

- Ensuring compliance with corporate processes, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

- Leading and mentoring team members, fostering collaboration with stakeholders and managing external consultants.

Specifically, this role requires:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Experience in creating business cases, conducting feasibility studies, and performing cashflow analysis.

- Comfort with ambiguity and skilled decision-making.

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

- Proficient in MS Office, project management, and statistics tools.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or MBA is a plus.

- 3+ years of experience in real estate investment, advisory, or strategic management consulting.

- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and aligning executive management in large organisations.

- Strong background in developing financial business cases and funding structures.

- Previous roles in investment, investment banking, strategy consulting, or corporate development.

- This position is intended to support our Emiratisation goals.
