Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Pastry Chef at Orto cafe located in Dubai. The Assistant Pastry Chef will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and creation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. They will work closely with the Pastry Chef to ensure high-quality products and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry department.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Assistant Pastry Chef or in a similar role
• Knowledge of different pastry techniques and methods
• Understanding of pastry ingredients and their functions
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Creativity and passion for pastry and baking
• Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus
