- Complete check of the restaurant prior to service time to ensure that all maintenance and cleanliness issues communicated.
- Works with the Restaurant Manager and the Operations Manager to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed correctly.
- Welcomes guests to the restaurant in a professional manner and interacts with guests to take food and drink orders.
- Ensure that the standards and sequence of service requirements are followed.
- Ensure that the closing and opening checklists are implemented.
- Ensure shift handover is properly done.
- Conduct daily briefings and shift briefings.
- Ensure that the staff grooming and appearance standards are strictly implemented.
- Is knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Restaurant policies.
- Communicates effectively with the Chef, Kitchen and stewarding staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, minimum 4 years and plus .
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business requirements.
