Job Description

  • Complete check of the restaurant prior to service time to ensure that all maintenance and cleanliness issues communicated.
  • Works with the Restaurant Manager and the Operations Manager to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed correctly.
  • Welcomes guests to the restaurant in a professional manner and interacts with guests to take food and drink orders.
  • Ensure that the standards and sequence of service requirements are followed.
  • Ensure that the closing and opening checklists are implemented.
  • Ensure shift handover is properly done.
  • Conduct daily briefings and shift briefings.
  • Ensure that the staff grooming and appearance standards are strictly implemented.
  • Is knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Restaurant policies.
  • Communicates effectively with the Chef, Kitchen and stewarding staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, minimum 4 years and plus .
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business requirements.
