JOB SUMMARY:
To supervise and run the Restaurant operations, following and achieving the KPIs given by the assistant operations manager, ensuring customer satisfaction, by establishing and maintaining a good relationship with the clients, being readily available to clients to allay any concerns or problems that may arise and offering efficient management of the dining facilities under his or her control as per UNFs policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Applies and follows the contractual obligations, UNFs policies and procedures
- Lead, Train, motivate and supervises junior staff, leading the team to ensure the company service standards are upheld and maintained at all times
- Conduct daily briefings ensuring two-way communication, training and policy information.
- Develop innovative ways to create sales of the restaurant by up-selling menu items, food, beverage and shisha, ensuring that sales targets are met through increasing customer AVG spend and enhancing the restaurants sales mix
- Meet and greet guests and develop a Restaurant guest database to ensure customer retention.
- Resolve guest and staff complaints and grievances.
- Control expenses of the restaurant.
- Handles discounts, voids and similar actions in the system.
- Making Reports of the sales daily and compare it with the sales history.
- Ensures safety training and proper usage of equipments and premises is given to junior and untrained staff
- Ensure to track all the assets movement/ repair and communicate with concern.
- Enforces strict compliance to personal hygiene, dress code and language for all dining room staff
- Prepares staff rosters, ensuring adequate staffing of the dining room at all times
- Able to explain the various menu dishes prepared, describing ingredients and cooking Methods
- Works closely with the kitchen staff to ensure excellent service is provided to all clients and take action to correct any problems
- Prepares daily requisition for procurement of all food and beverage related items required for the dining room from the stores
- Checks the quantity and quality of received products
- Leads the team positively for the development of the enterprise
- Implements food safety and HACCP compliance recording production on specified forms
- Monitors the total cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant and equipment's throughout and after service, checking that the cleaning schedules are being adhered to before signing off
- Coordinate with Administrator or Camp boss for meal signing sheet records
- Performs other duties as directed
- Ensure a smooth workflow and maintain effective communication within the team and promptly report all day-to-day operational matters to your direct manager.
