§ Supervise all on-site construction including subcontractors, resolve day-to-day problems on the job site and inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
§ Respond with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents
§ Advise and assist the subcontractor on construction procedures
§ Observe the safety procedures followed by the contractor and issue instructions necessary to correct safety violations
§ Ensure appropriate materials and tools are available
§ Assist in the development of new project proposals including directing and preparing layouts
§ Assist in the management of construction projects including overseeing the development of the detailed project drawings, interacting with subcontractors, administering sub-contracts as required, and exercising overall site control of the project
§ Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the companys HSE&Q policies and procedures, ensuring that appropriate preparatory and protective measures are employed at all stages of the work by employees and subcontractors
§ Arrange for appropriate safety training to be given to employees and subcontractors on site
§ Prepare Inspection and test plans for in-house projects and review the same submitted by the subcontractors
Perform inspection of day-to-day activities and report to the Project Manager
§ Minimum 5 years experience in similar field
