Associate Director - Global Occupier Services

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Associate Director to join our growing team within Global Occupier Services (GOS), Cairo. This role is a transaction management and advisory role working on behalf of Cushman & Wakefield's Global Occupier Services clients.

Role Requirements:

Strategic Advisory and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential properties and market trends.
  • Analyse data to provide insights on occupancy costs, market conditions, and other relevant factors.
  • Gathering the data and insights needed to allow you to tailor strategic advice to our clients achieving flexibility, mitigating risk, improving utilisation and lowering costs.

Client Support:

  • Manage and build client relationships.
  • Prepare and present client presentations, reports, and proposals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to clients.

Financial Analysis:

  • Responsible for financial modelling and analysis for potential lease transactions.
  • Responsible for evaluating financial implications of different real estate strategies.

Lease Negotiations:

  • Managing lease negotiations, including drafting and reviewing lease documents.
  • Managing lease abstracting and other related tasks.
  • Managing tenant representation assignments and projects for multi-national companies throughout Egypt and the wider Middle East region via the wider Cushman & Wakefield regional office network.

Portfolio Management:

  • Managing client portfolios, tracking lease expirations and critical dates.
  • Providing recommendations for optimising real estate portfolios.
  • Managing and leading complex leasing projects from initial brief to lease execution

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
  • Engaging with Cushman & Wakefield wider service lines to support client projects where required.
  • Establishing strong networks of landlords, developers, asset owners and real estate agencies throughout the region and having a strong understanding of their abilities and practices.

Education:

Degree in Real Estate or in business-related disciplines

Experience / Knowledge:

  • 8+ years of relevant working experience focusing on commercial real estate brokerage and/or consulting & advisory experience
  • Able to demonstrate a strong track record across transactional and non-transactional specialist advice.
  • Good understanding of the Commercial Real Estate industry and Egyptian landscape.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Arabic language preferred but not essential
