Job Summary:

The Associate Director of Community Management and System Administration is responsible for leading community engagement initiatives, managing member relationships, and overseeing the organization's information systems. This role requires a blend of strong community management skills and technical expertise to ensure effective communication, engagement, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Management:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement community engagement strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  2. Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with members, volunteers, and stakeholders to enhance community involvement.
  3. Event Coordination: Plan and execute community events, workshops, and programs to engage and educate members.
  4. Communication: Oversee communication channels, including newsletters, social media, and forums, to keep the community informed and engaged.
  5. Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from community members to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance community satisfaction.

System Administration:

  1. IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases, ensuring their security, stability, and efficiency.
  2. Software Management: Manage and maintain software applications used by the organization, including CRM systems, collaboration tools, and other critical software.
  3. Technical Support: Provide technical support to staff and community members, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
  4. Data Management: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations, including data backup and disaster recovery planning.
  5. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Community Management, Non-Profit Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in community management and system administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, software administration, and technical support. Knowledge of CRM systems and data management best practices.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in IT and community management are preferred.
