MCG Talent are partnered with a worldwide company in the events space to source an Associate Director of Sales, to be based in Riyadh.
Arabic is highly preferred, must be based in Riyadh and have a regional sales track record.
Events experience is preferred, but also open to similar industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sports and entertainment events industry.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, sponsors, and partners.
- Create and execute effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional event experiences that meet client expectations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals.
- Drive new business revenue through proactive sales efforts and lead generation.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, ideally in the sports and entertainment events industry but similar industries also accepted.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong network and relationships within the sports and entertainment sector.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience in new business development and revenue generation.
- Fluency in Arabic is highly desirable; proficiency in English is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
