Position Overview:
As an Associate Director of Valuations, you will play a critical role in assessing the value of real estate assets and providing expert insights to support our investment decisions. You will lead a team of valuation professionals, contribute to the development of investment strategies, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure our portfolio continues to thrive. This is a senior-level position with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of valuation analysts, providing mentorship and guidance in conducting property appraisals, market research, and financial analysis.
- Oversee the valuation process for a diverse portfolio of real estate assets, including residential, commercial, and hospitality properties.
- Collaborate with the investment team to assess the feasibility and financial viability of potential real estate investments and acquisitions.
- Analyze market trends and property data to provide accurate and insightful valuation reports that support investment decision-making.
- Conduct regular site inspections and property due diligence to ensure the accuracy of valuation assessments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of local and international real estate markets, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and industry experts to enhance the company's reputation and business opportunities.
- Provide strategic input into the development of investment strategies and business plans, contributing to the company's growth and success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certification, MRICS or RICS is essential
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate valuations, with a proven track record of working on complex valuation projects.
- Logistics or Retail/Shopping mall experience would be highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a team and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in industry-standard valuation methodologies and software.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE real estate markets and regulations is highly advantageous.
